Ballardong Aboriginal Astronomy PlanisphereThe Ballardong Aboriginal Astronomy Project run by Astrotourism WA worked with the local Ballardong Elders and the children at the Beverley District High School to produce our very own Planisphere. The project was made possible by Regional Development Australia along with the Shire of Beverley.
Pictured, you can see many students and their families were able to immerse themselves sitting around a campfire and listening to stories under the chilly night sky at Avondale. You can now purchase your own Ballardong Planisphere at the Beverley Visitor Centre. |
