War Memorial 1919
The memorial obelisk was unveiled by Sir James Mitchell on 28 September 1919. The war memorial is one of the earliest memorials immediately after World War One.
The revered commemorative site represents a sense of place for locals, visitors, and returned servicemen and their families, and is an important social gathering for events and particularly ANZAC Day and is much valued by the local community.
