The heritage wheatbelt town of Beverley is 130 kilometres east of Perth on the Avon River. Founded in 1838, Beverley is one of Western Australia's oldest settlements.

Today Beverley is a quiet agricultural town with a proud history - for visitors it is a chance to experience life in a heritage country town. Stroll down the main street and admire the variety of architectural styles. Go for a flight in a glider or try out the golf course and take the kids to explore the banks of the Avon River. Visit the Station Gallery and meet the artist in residence, then enjoy a coffee or a beer and a good country meal!

The winter months are truly approaching fast, which means that the seeding program has commenced for many farmers in the region and soon the paddocks will be lush green with crops.

After months of building and construction at the town oval the amenties building is looking fantastic and the new netball courts are coming together, just in time for the winter sports season. With the Redback's Football and Netball teams entering the season as league premiers we are expecting another fantastic season from both teams.
The first home game of football will be played on the Sunday 9th June, if you want to see a good old fashioned game of footy then come and enjoy the country spirit in our new sporting complex.

The horse and pony club are going strong and would welcome any visitors to watch them display their amazing skills on horseback. The club holds rally's on a monthly basis, check out the events calendar for more details.

For some loud and dirty fun the motor cross season has started, this dedicated group have very eventful weekends running every fortnight at the MotorX track on Nicholas Street.

The Tractor Pull and Dirt Drag season has begun, this monthly event attracts many visitors to our town.
So if your a bit of a Revhead this is definitely the event for you.
