Events
Make a date to visit Beverley for one of the annual events - the Art Show at Easter, the Beverley Clydesdale and Vintage Day at Avondale in June followed by the Beverley Agricultural Show in August, and the Beverley Harvest Festival at Avondale in November. Look for regular cultural events held at the fabulous new Station Gallery and Platform Theatre.

Sports
There's plenty of sporting activities in Beverley - you can fly in a glider, play golf, tennis or bowls, try out the motocross track, swim in the pool in summer or bring your kyak to paddle the Avon River in winter. Celebrating 20 years of Australia's Biggest Morning Tea

Hosted at Beverley District High School inconjunction with the Cross Country Run.
Make up a table, watch your child, grand child or someone you know run in the cross country,
while enjoying a cuppa with a great morning tea and support the only cancer fund raising function where the money stays in Western Australia.

Beverley Agricultural Show Day 2013

Preparations have began for the 137th Beverley Act-Belong-Commit Annual Show. This year the show will be held on Saturday 24 August 2013, the day is full of fun entertainment, rides, shopping stalls, displays in the exhibition shed and loads of animals with horse events, cattle judging and working dog displays. Beverley will be the venue for the the 2013 WA Wyandottee 21st Annual Show on
Saturday 7th September at the Poultry Shed at the Beverley Showgrounds.

This event is open to all the public and is free.

Sports

There are many sporting clubs in Beverley that welcome visitors. See the Community Directory for a full listing of sporting clubs and contact details.

Town Oval
In winter you'll be able to see football matches being contested on the Town Oval, and in summer you'll probably catch a game of cricket.

You'll find Tennis courts, the Bowling Club and the Swimming Pool nearby - all of which welcome visitors to the town.

On the outskirts of town you'll find the Motocross track, Rifle Range, Tractor Pull and Gliding at the airstrip.

The Beverley Motocross track is a popular place for young and old. In addition to regular practice days for members, the Beverley Districts Motorcycling Club offers GoMoto days open to any motorcyclist with a bike (2 or 4 wheels) to have a go. Have a look at the Beverley Motocross website.

Beverley Pony Club
This active club offers a range of equestrian activities and sessions for ponies and horses (and their riders!) with monthly rallies from March to October. Beverley is also the venue for state and zone pony club events.

Visitors are welcome to play at this scenic country golf course on the banks of the Avon River. You'll enjoy the experience of golf on the finest sand greens course in Western Australia.

Gliding
The Beverley Soaring Society welcomes visitors. You can experience a flight in a glider or just watch as gliders are towed up into the skies and talk to the friendly gliding enthusiasts.

Beverley Bowling Club
The Bowling Club in Forrest Street near the Town Oval has all-weather greens and is often the scene of fierce but friendly competition. Visitors are welcome - for more information see the the Community Directory for contact details.
