Beverley Harvest Festival

This major community event is held in November each year and gives visitors an opportunity to see harvesting in action, experience rural activities and feel part of the Beverley agricultural community.

It is a chance to marvel at the magnitude of the wheat harvest in Western Australia and enjoy some country hospitality.

The Beverley Harvest Festival in 2011 featured demonstrations of the history of harvesting, with Clydesdale horses & vintage equipment; stationary engines, vintage vehicles; wood chopping; Highland cattle; blacksmith & farrier & working sheepdogs.

Enjoy a special day in the country - see the Great Southern Working Dog finals, working horses in action and the hobby horse display and auction.

Entry fee: $10 adult, $5 concession and children under 12 free.
Food and drink available.
Sorry no pets.

Held in June each year, this is a day of nostalgia. Clydesdale horses and vintage tractors are in the field with tillage implements of the past. See the earth being turned by a four run mouldboard or a seven disc plough being pulled by a pair, or team, of Clydesdales. You be the judge of a straight furrow of the correct depth! Interact with the Clydesdales and their handlers. Talk with the 'old-timers' about farming in times gone by.

Hobby Horse Challenge
See the tethered hobby horses in the paddock.  Put your vote in for the “people’s choice” - the winner receives a $100 voucher from Northam Toyworld.  Or perhaps you would like to put a bid in at the auction when several artist created hobby horses will go under the hammer at 2pm. 

Great Southern Working Sheep dog finals
See the Great Southern Working Sheep dog finals being contested at Avondale on the day. Several of these dogs will go on to represent the state, and Australia.

Held in August every second year, the Beverley Truck Muster Weekend is a great opportunity to see and admire a variety of trucks and talk to their proud owners.

Stationary engines chug away during the day and teams of Clydesdale horses are harnessed to show visitors some original "horsepower".

Held over the weekend, this two-day event is a relaxed and fun way to see some great trucks and enjoy a day in the country.
